For this weeks gameplay, I watched the “Let’s Watch — Party Hard” which is an action stealth video game published by tinyBuild in 2015. The premise is the game is that you are an unnamed man who sneaks into locations and commits murders without getting noticed. As you progress through the games, you have the opportunity to unlock multiple characters in different scenarios. The cultural attitudes presented by this game are violent, and typically unethical in real life. This allows the player to carry out “fantasy” type killings. The game feel is very basic, but has an entry level type feel. The game gives a very sterile perception and the graphics aren’t very interactive.

The game’s organization encourages the player to be stealthy yet efficient with the killings, as the less time spent but the increased murders unlocks new levels for the players. Warfare is now conducted on the basis of knowledge produced through simulation (Dovey and Kennedy 12), which encourages players to get into the mindset of the character. As the character changes, players have to adapt their skills previously learned in the game to advance. Overall, this game takes very little skill from the player to initially start, but as the game advances, the player must build upon skills quickly to advance.
